Common Crane is also known as Eurasian Crane. It belongs to a family named Gruidae. Common cranes are mostly found in northern Europe and Asia.They migrate to long distances. In winter, they migrate to African countries like Sudan, Ethiopia, Tunisia and Eritrea and fewer numbers are seen in Iran, Israel, Iraq and the Indian subcontinent. In the Autumn, they are seen in large numbers in China, Germany and Sweden.
