Green Bee Eater

Green Bee Eater belongs to the Bee eater family. They are mainly insect eaters and are found in grasslands, thin scrub, forest and often away from water. They are mostly resident, but prone to seasonal movements. They can be found across sub-Saharan Africa from Senegal and the Gambia to Ethiopia and Nile valley, western Arabia, and Asia through India to Vietnam.

Like other bee-eaters, they are richly-coloured slender birds.
