Indian Cormorant or Indian Shag is a member of cormorant family. This species is found mainly in the inland waters of the Indian subcontinent, but is also seen in Sind in the west and Thailand and Cambodia in the east.
The Indian Cormorant is medium sized with brown and bronze colour on its upper body. It has a small and slightly peaked head with a long narrow bill that ends in a hooked tip.
