Indian Grey Hornbill is a common hornbill found on the Indian subcontinent. They are commonly sighted in pairs. As its name suggests, it has grey feathers all over its body with light grey or dull white body. Its horn is black or dark grey with a pointed curve. This species is found mainly on plains upto 2000 feet.
It is found from the foothills of Himalayas, Indus valley range on the west to the Ganges belt on the east. It is also found in cities which have old avenue trees.
