"Mangalooru Bajji" is a South Kanara dish. You get this preparation in eateries (the darshini's) in Karnataka. It looks like a Bonda, but called a Bajji! This is typically a coffee time snack.
1. Maida - 250g 2. Rice flour - 1 Tsp 3. Cooking Soda - Pinch 4. Salt to taste 5. Jeera 6. Pepper 7. Chopped green chilli 8. Chopped curry leaves
Preparation Steps
1. Mix Maida with Curd into a semisolid paste 2. Leave it this way for about 4 hours 3. After 4 hours - add Jeera, Pepper, chopped green chilli, chopped curry leaves to the batter. The quantity of these ingredients should not exceed 2 Tbsp. 4. Make small balls of the batter and deep fry
You could serve these bajji's along with coconut chutney for additional taste
